We are happy to inform that we have won a tender for the creation, delivery and assembly of information points together with interactive content included in the „Equipment Assembly” task as part of the project entitled „The rebuilding and expansion of the cultural infrastructure of the Central Maritime Museum for the purposes of the Maritime Culture Centre”. In other words, we are creating educational and informational presentations as well as illustrations of boats from all over the world, 3D scans of museum exhibits and 3D maps of the museum along with indicated visiting routes. The whole project will be presented via intelligent kiosks designed for use by children and disabled people.

In 2010 we had a great honour to send our project to Asia for one of the most prestigious events in the world. The virtual tour of the Amber Museum in Gdansk went to Expo 2010 in Shanghai where it was distributed among foreign visitors during the presentation of Pomerania. The tour allows you to visit the rooms of the impressive building of the Barbican Prison where the museum is located as well as taking a closer look at the exhibits and learning interesting facts about the history of amber, its role in nature, arts and crafts. The whole presentation is embellished with stunning photographs of amber inclusions as well as animations and films.
The project has been co-financed by European Union as part of the 1.6.1 RPO WP action.

We are really glad to present the www.2wrecks.eu website, commissioned by the Central Maritime Museum in Gdansk. It is dedicated to the exhibition entitled „Following the mediaeval wrecks. Marine Archeology in Poland and Norway.”, a project of the newest establishment of the Museum - the Maritime Culture Centre, which can now be visited online. For the purposes of the virtual exhibition we have created an educational game where young visitors can learn about wrecks, based on the example of the Copper Ship in Gdansk Bay, as well as 3D scans of museum exhibits, i.e. medieaval wrecks that can be turned around, measured or scaled up or down. The exhibition is presented in Polish, Norwegian and English and has been very popular – we really recommend visiting.
